This will serve as formal notice consistent with COCA Accreditation Element 12.7 that the proposed Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (KansasCOM) (applicant status-seeking accreditation), Wichita, Kansas, intends to seek Candidate status through the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) with an anticipated review date by the COCA Executive Committee on June 4, 2020. Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60611. The proposed KansasCOM (applicant status-seeking accreditation) is in the developmental stage of accreditation and has not been approved to recruit students. The AOA Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the accreditor of colleges of osteopathic medicine. COCA accreditation signifies that a college has met or exceeded the Commission’s standards for educational quality.
