Kansas Health Science Center (KHSC) is a nonprofit institution with the goal of opening the proposed Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (applicant status- seeking accreditation). KHSC strives to positively impact the health care landscape in Kansas and beyond.
Kansas Health Science Center (KHSC) is a nonprofit institution committed to developing leaders at the intersection of health care and technology. With a commitment to making a difference in rural and underserved communities throughout Kansas, our goal is to open a proposed Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (KansasCOM) (applicant status-seeking accreditation) in 2022. KHSC strives to positively impact the health care and technology landscape in Wichita and the greater Kansas region while upholding the values of community, empathy, humility, integrity, innovation, teamwork, and quality—creating a dynamic atmosphere committed to providing a best-in-class academic experience.
Riverside Health Foundation has been devoted to promoting osteopathic medicine in Kansas since our inception in the 1950s. Partnering with Kansas Health Science Center to support their proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine makes sense for us. Their focus on preparing doctors who will become an integral part of the community—treating our citizens with the highest quality medical care—is what we’re all about. Giving to their cause is an easy decision for us, because it’s our cause, too—improving the health and welfare of Kansas.”
Areas of Support
KHSC’s proposed KansasCOM (applicant status-seeking accreditation) is the first proposed osteopathic medical school in the state of Kansas. KHSC is committed to promoting physician leaders who will make an impact across our communities.
Unrestricted giving will support the operational needs of the institution as the medical school plans for the recruitment of faculty and staff.
